This commission is tasked with investigating complaints submitted to it concerning the workings of the Parliament, the Executive Branch, or the Judicial Branch, and announcing the outcome to the complainant or the general public. This article, aiming to answer the question of "whether an institution similar to this commission exists in the US legal system," examines the US legal system through a library research method and compares its jurisdiction and working methods with those of the Article 90 Commission. Based on this, it concludes that the committees of the US Congress exercise supervision over federal institutions and government officials regarding the proper implementation of laws, similar to the oversight conducted by the Article 90 Commission. کمیسیون اصل 90،‌ یکی از کمیسیون‌های مجلس شورای اسلامی است که بر اساس اصل 90 قانون اساسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران دارای وظیفۀ نظارتی نسبت به عملکرد قوای سه‌گانه است. این کمیسیون موظف است به شکایاتی که از طرز کار مجلس، قوۀ مجریه یا قوۀ قضائیه به این کمیسیون عرضه می‌شود، رسیدگی و نتیجۀ آن را به شاکی یا عموم مردم اعلام کند. این مقاله برای پاسخ به این پرسش که «آیا نهادی مشابه این کمیسیون در نظام حقوقی امریکا وجود دارد یا خیر؟» به بررسی نظام حقوقی امریکا به روش کتابخانه‌ای و مقایسۀ صلاحیت و شیوۀ کار آن با کمیسیون اصل 90 قانون اساسی پرداخت و بر اساس آن به این نتیجه رسید که کمیته‌های کنگرۀ امریکا نسبت به نهادهای فدرال و مأموران دولت در زمینۀ اجرای صحیح قوانین، نظارتی مشابه نظارت کمیسیون دارند. https://hoghoughi.nashriyat.ir/sites/hoghoughi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5001584-1777916233.pdf
